As of 6PM EST September 14th 2010 the Chase Bank online portion of their web site (to view banking service and credit card accounts) is still down. ATM. and telephone bank services continue to work normally, and customers can still go to Chase branches to gain access their accounts, they said. By some accounts, it has been down since 9pm EST yesterday. According to the press releases, they are having a technical difficulties. Not sure if this is a bigger security issue or just a massive technical glitch as they state. Lets hope this outage is truly a technical issue and not something malicious. Either way, this is a black mark on their PR.
